The Greenpeace organization's main goal is to eliminate or lessen the activities that harm the environment. However, when people keep on burning fossil fuels, this becomes a hindrance to achieving their goals. According to the country director, Lea Guerrero, many big companies use fossil fuels because of profiting from them, thus causing a climate emergency. When fossil fuels are burned, nitrogen oxides are released into the atmosphere, contributing to smog and acid rain creation (EPA, n.d).

Another hindrance is that we haven't cut off the fossil fuel supply. Fossil fuel companies and governments are still building coal plants, digging for oil, and exploring even more oil and coal extract. Despite knowing that it severely impacts the world and the people, they still produce fossil fuels for the reasons that we need them in our daily lives, such as in transportation, etc. They say that the world won't run without it, but with that, we are basically destroying the world we live in.

Taking a stand for climate justice.

We should take a stand for climate justice, hold fossil fuel companies responsible, join a protest, and encourage others to do the same. As an individual we can help to stop the gradual deterioration of our environment by doing some actions like letting more people know about the crisis that our environment is facing and will be facing in the future. The planet that we abuse and the living things we destroy will return its vengeance in the end, because we are reducing our future by abusing its existence.

The oceans supply half of our oxygen, feed a global population, and shelter some of the main attractions species. However, the environmental problems, deforestation, and damaging businesses put them in jeopardy now more than ever. We must act quickly to correct the situation. Scientists have revealed how endangered this may be for wildlife, and that they have developed a plan to prevent it. It is preferable that we pay attention to the scientists.

There are a lot of plastics and chemicals that threaten the health of all living beings on earth. Most of them are unintentionally released into the environment, resulting in diseases. That is why we must stop using them; we must find a healthy substitute for them. For example, use a reusable shopping bag instead of the plastic bag that would only be used once. However, individualistic action can only help a little percent. We must call out companies who use heavy amounts of plastics and dangerous chemicals.
