What do you do when you run out of Yellows? You are meant to paint in Yellow, you want to show something that beams, something that saturates, but you've run out of Yellows. If you have green, is that your best bet? Do you want to embody Yellow as something fresh and ripe? Does your Yellow feel sticky and leave a tangy, sour taste in your mouth? Perhaps not. Perhaps then, you would prefer orange. Do you want your Yellows to sink with the sun and set you down gently into a daybed sprinkled with pillows and throw blankets, warm and stable? Do you want your Yellow to be soft, spiced and sickly sweet like a tangerine? When you run out of Yellow, will you remember it was ever yours? Maybe it was never yours, maybe it was just learning how to be a good Yellow in preparation for a more stable future. Maybe you should try your luck with blue. It doesn't remind you of Yellow, and maybe that's what you need right now.

Procesing whilst trapped within an icy frost. The lawn is dewy and crisp, flaky. I'm paler than usual. There's a purple-grey undertone to everything, it makes me feel like I'm Kristen Stewart in the Twilight Saga. I'm trying to keep myself close by. Vulnerability is always followed by more, and I'm partial to emotional bruising. So I've been wrapping my feelings in tin foil for insulation (nothing in, nothing out) and I've been listening to Kate Bush really loudly in my car. I've realised that experimentation is my greatest chance at melting my frosty disposition. I'm terrified of failure, but to intentionally twist and branch in ways I never have feels too good to restrict. I want to melt into a gooey puddle infront of the sun.

i feel my power being relinquished, energy drained/ maybe if i took more vitamins. like i used to. then, maybe, i'd feel full and vital.
I think i'm a crier. i used to say that i wasn't, but i think i was lying. I definitely cry a lot, about a lot of different things.
On being drained, perhaps my body has been depleted of all its salt from all the crying.
Perhaps, that's why i like the beach. i gulp ocean water like my thirst for it can't be quenched. i've probably swallowed hundreds of microorganisms like baby starfish and baby dolphins. i hope the marine ecosystem that is contained in my bowels is happy. i hope they don't feel like anything is missing.
my stomach is never empty. i'm an emotional eater. over the years, i've learnt to stop when i'm full. before then, i would never limit myself. my reasoning was that i needed it. now i know what i need the most is a hug or a cup of tea or some other form of warmth that makes me feel cared for.
caring for others isn't something that has come naturally to me. i've always known i want to, but in the past at least, I'd always make mistakes. i don't want to hurt anyone. i want to give love and feel loved, that's it.
i think that's why it is so crippling for me to see those i love in pain. i feel crippled alongside them. my support is as good as yelling in a soundproof room. it isn't heard, because it's been muffled. i become distorted, weakened. i hope others can find power in themselves by comparison.
