I wanted to be a Intrusive rock (when magma cools below the earth's surface). Just like my best friend Bob.

Life as a rock is not that exciting. As Lot's of my friends say. I think their is more than just being a rock. I go up to one of my family members and asked him is their more than just being a Igneous rock? My friend said, yes. their is Extrusive rock (when Magma reaches the earth's surface and cools the magma down) and Intrusive rock (when magma cools below the earth's surface). I already knew that.

I went on and wanted to learn about all of the different types of stages. I went up to my teacher after class and asked is their different stages after Igneous rock? She said yes, but their is really no order. Then I said describe the next stage. she said the high heat from the magma and then the pressure. Later on that week I was experiencing the next stage. It was painful and it was just like what my teacher said it was normal for a young rock like me.

Years later a became a metamorphic rock. I asked how does the stages work? TO my dad. metamorphic rocks are formed within the Earth's interior under extremely high pressures that are unequal, occurring when the pressure is greater in one direction than in the others (directed pressure).metamorphic rocks are formed around igneous intrusions where the temperatures are high but the pressures are relatively low and equal in all directions (confining pressure). Next thing you know I went through that stage and was really tense.

I went to my grandpas and asked how does Sedimentary stage work? He said Clastic sedimentary rocks form by weathering processes which break down rocks into pebble, sand, or clay particles by exposure to wind, ice, and water. Nonclastic sedimentary rocks form from chemical reactions, chiefly in the ocean. Years later I experienced the final stage and I felt so alive and was proud to be at the final stage.
