Kashgar was once the biggest trading centers on the silk road.

Fact 1- Location: 

Kashgar is located at the foot of the Pamirs mountains where the ranges of the Tien shan andunlun mountains join. Because of its location between these mountains and the Taklamakan dessert it is considered an oasis.

Fact 2- climate: Kashgar has a dessert climate with hot summers and cold winters. Kashgar is one of the driest city's on earth Kashgar's wettest month July only sees an average of 9.1 millimeters of rain

Fact 3- culture Kashgar is one of the four Buddhist cultural centers But Kashgar has seen other religions like shamanism, Zoroastrianism, Nestorianism, and Islam. 

Trade- Kashgar traded Chinese silk, spices, gold and gemstones with the city of 

Constantinople and with the Chinese central city of Xian

Fact 3- culture: Niya was home to a Buddhist shrine and many Buddhist relics were found in the ruins of the city

 Trade: Niya was a major stop on a route that linked the Chinese and roman empire Chinese silk ,tea and porcelain would be brought west and European gold glassware and silver east,
