- Pick a farm animal of choice as Project Title

- Draw a picture of what the animal looks like and label the picture where possible (e.g. legs, tail, nose, fur etc.)

- Write where the animal lives - explicitly teach and use the word habitat (try your best to sound out and write the word ‘farm’)

- What does the animal like to eat?

- Use the internet to learn one interesting fact about the animal you have chosen.

Cut coloured paper into small squares and sort.

Draw a selection of different lines for your child to follow along with their pattern

Say “what makes something a pattern?” “It has to follow a set of rules/it repeats itself” 
Tell the children they can use two colours or if they want to make it more challenging they could use 3 or 4.
