Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), fully enforceable this year, offers opportunities for U.S. companies in data technologies and services.

The article :
https://www.trade.gov/market-intelligence/thailand-personal-data-protection-act

The article is about the Personal Data Protection Act, Thailand's first law created to govern data protection.

I learned about the PDPA law. It is the first Thai law designed to govern data protection in the digital age and its core principles under the PDPA are heavily influenced by the EU's GDPR. The law requires data controllers and data processors using personal data to obtain consent from the data subject.

I would like to recommend this article to my classmates because this new law will give us more rights to your personal data. For example Your cell phone company can know that you are accessing certain websites. As soon as you accept cookies on the website, if you change your mind, this law will force the company or the website to delete your information immediately.

2.What is a Zero-day Attack? - Definition and Explanation

"Zero-day" is a broad term that describes recently discovered security vulnerabilities that hackers can use to attack systems. The term "zero-day" refers to the fact that the vendor or developer has only just learned of the flaw – which means they have “zero days” to fix it. A zero-day attack takes place when hackers exploit the flaw before developers have a chance to address it.

The article : https://www.kaspersky.com/resource-center/definitions/zero-day-exploithttps://www.kaspersky.com/resource-center/definitions/zero-day-exploit

The article is about the zero-day attacks and how do zero-day attacks work.

I learned about the zero-day vulnerabilities can take multiple forms – such as missing data encryption, missing authorizations, broken algorithms, bugs, problems with password security, and so on – they can be challenging to detect. Due to the nature of these types of vulnerabilities, detailed information about zero-day exploits is available only after the exploit is identified.

I would like to recommend this article to my classmates because software often has security vulnerabilities that hackers can exploit to cause havoc.

3.What Is Stuxnet?

Stuxnet is a computer worm that was originally aimed at Iran’s nuclear facilities and has since mutated and spread to other industrial and energy-producing facilities. The original Stuxnet malware attack targeted the programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used to automate machine processes. It generated a flurry of media attention after it was discovered in 2010 because it was the first known virus to be capable of crippling hardware and because it appeared to have been created by the U.S. National Security Agency, the CIA, and Israeli intelligence.

The article : https://www.trellix.com/en-us/security-awareness/ransomware/what-is-stuxnet.html

The article is about the Stuxnet virus was discovered in 2010. It is a virus that even if cleaned on a new Windows machine, it cannot be removed. It is a virus that is hidden in the computer. The working time of this virus is 1 day after that. Will be silent after 1 month, it will work again, after 3 times it will be silent for a while so that there is no doubt, it can also update its own version.

I learned about the Stuxnet destroyed numerous centrifuges in Iran’s Natanz. It was a multi-part worm that traveled on USB sticks and spread through Microsoft Windows computers. The virus searched each infected PC for signs of Siemens Step 7 software, which industrial computers serve as PLCs. The Stuxnet attacker exploited four Windows zero-day vulnerabilities.

I would like to recommend this article to my classmates because creating Stuxnet is very expensive to build, making it complicated to work and building is very interesting.

The report places a special emphasis on the legal instruments and well-established standards that the CoE has at its disposal to uphold fundamental rights and ensure stronger protections against mass or targeted unlawful and unjustified surveillance. It also provides the basic rules of thumb for better protection for individuals.

I would like to recommend this article to my classmates because it is very close to us because recently the Internet Law Reform Dialogue (iLaw) has come out to tell us the list of people in Thailand who have been snooped by the government. And if you're using an iPhone, you can check for hacks from it.
