The administration knew they were going to do it before and threatened students. Mary Beth Tinker and John Tinker refused to remove arm bands when peace protest took place and were expelled. Students at Sycamore high school have made social media accounts promoting walk outs and getting ready to make a stand against gun violence and gender inequality. It s a beautiful thing. I believe that the Tinker and Des Moine's case helped make a way for us to do this, and for so many other public schools in America.
