I engage in every assignment to help me gain knowledge over special needs students. I was able to go out into a classroom and experience first hand what it is like teaching those specific students. I also interviewed a special needs education teacher which was very interesting. Mr. Bean had answered my questions perfectly. Which only made me more excited for my future. I had met my expectation as I went throughout this course. I know what an IEP consist of and how to construct one. Another piece of information that I will carry with me is the importance of communicating with parents, this includes the different fun ways to due so. And lastly the main thing I will always remember is that students will only learn from a teacher who cares about them.
