There would be 4 House captains that represent the house colour they were in. 
The captains and the sport teacher organise the special sport events like the athletics day, the swimming carnival and all the gala days. 
If they want, they could try to add another sports day and show it to the assistant principal and the principal. 
If the assistant principal and the principal like it they can tell the colour captains to announce it to everyone at the next assembly. 
It would give kids who like sport but don’t want to be a Saito Kai and still want to be in charge in their last year of school! 
To become a house captain, you would have to apply for the role and be voted by the students in the colour you are in. Also, to become a House captain the sports teacher has to say that you try hard and you are a good sport. 
Most of the responsibilities would fall onto the house captains and it would be a hard ob to have but it would still be good. 
In conclusion, I think it would be a very good idea to add house captains because it would add more sport days, give more people a leadership role and in total be an awesome role to have!

8 people would be there, because there is 4 colours and a captain and vice captain per team, meaning 8 people.
We would make chants for the team, maybe organizing some events at assembly, or athletics days. Most of the responsibilities would be with the students, as having it with the teachers wouldn’t make us as independent as we could be, if we made the teachers do more of the work. Since we would be the captains of the colours, they shouldn’t have to do anything. Unless we would be too rowdy, or the captains couldn’t contain the people that are part of the house, the teachers just might have to cut in to calm everything and everyone down. That would be the only time they would cut in.
The students that are part of the houses would vote for the captains, and majority vote wins, of course. Minority would be the year after. It could also end up in more sports days, and we could have fundraisers every month, which would go to better sustainability, and would be used for multiple other things that would benefit the school, for the kids and staff.

It would be called The Canopy and would have different branches eg school communications or sustainability and environment. I also think we should have branches of each house (house captains/organisers) and change the names of all of the houses. The branches would meet like a lunchtime club, they would need someone in their branch to organise it and someone to take notes. The whole Canopy would meet every 2-4 weeks or whenever necessary. The School communications branch would “run” assembly and representatives from each branch would talk about the things that align with their branch.     The voting system would work like the Australian voting system, so that kids could learn more about it when voting.
    Miss Higgins would choose which student’s have which role but the students would still have a preference for the role they want.
    If someone who isn’t a school leader has an ideas they can still share it with the leaders.
