Convincing our students to attend school requires that we provide a safe space and are in tune to their needs. We have a team of teachers, social workers, counselors, career coaches, etc., that help with that but SEL has to be implemented in the classroom and the students heard, or they don't show up.

Students seem to enjoy and write the most on Fridays!

I've also seen SEL implemented in group work. When students are grouped effectively, the support one another academically and social/emotionally.
