• 09.15am: 60-min Amazon Culture of Innovation

• 10.15am: 60-min JIC Tour, IMDA ARVR Tour (likely split into 2-3 groups for best experience)

• 11.30am: 30-min Panel Discussion (one rep from AWS, IMDA, Xinmin (?), moderated by AWS)

4. Discuss skills, dispositions and qualities in students that can contribute to a career in STEM

• 0915 – 0945H:

Ferry departs from Marina South Pier (MSP) @ 0915H: Ferry ride to St John’s Island

• 0945 – 1000H

-Arrival at St John’s Island Jetty

-Walk up to SJINML

-Arrival at SJINML

• 1000 – 1030H

-Introduction to SJINML: Marine Science in Singapore and role of SJINML and Q&A

• 1030 – 1100H

-Meet-a-Scientist / STEM Career Q&A

• 1100 – 1130H

-Facility Tour of SJINML

• 1130 – 1145H

-Walk down to SJI Jetty

-Ferry departs from SJI Jetty @ 1145H

Things to note:

·       As there are no F&B services on the island, pack your own snack(s) and drink(s) as necessary

·       Bring your own water bottle – potable drinking water is available for refill at the water dispenser at SJINML

·       There is no sheltered walkway between the SJI public jetty and SJINML, bring a personal raincoat or umbrella in case of inclement weather

·       Pack sun protection and insect repellent as necessary

·       Covered-toe shoes are compulsory for entry into the laboratory

There may be limited connectivity on the island for some telecommunications companies or in case of bad weather
