You can make your own catalog and connect with people who read the same things you do.

I was curious, so I checked out the Zeitgeist tab, since I didn't know what that was and thought that may help me with the who and when, but what I found was a bunch of statistics:

- Most cataloged (Harry Potter books have the top 7, with a total rounded to 652, 000: miscalculated in my head. the Author Gallery also has the number of books on the website. The actual number was 775, 738)
- Members (2.7 mill)
- books cataloged (170 mill)
- Reviews written (4.5 mill)
- tags (183 mill)
"Ratings: 23,108,294

Works: 27,560,044

Series: 187,615

Covers Uploaded: 7,962,238

Author Pictures: 159,429

Venue Pictures: 18,844

Groups: 12,396

Topics: 245,942

Messages: 7,777,683

Touchstones: 6,016,002"

There are also recommendations, other languages, and "On This Day" on the sides.

The "OTD" section is who was born and who died on this day (April 22nd) throughout history (authors, of course)

Author Gallery: photos...duh... and as mentioned above, the number of books on the site. It goes in order of how many books are in the catalog of them. The very least is Walter Farley at 18,566.

There is also a tag cloud. It is a list of most searched things with different Bold or sizes showing how popular they are in alphabetical order. When you click on it, it brings you to a list of the books with that tag connected to them.

At the bottom, it says an Ngram table.

The top also has tabs for Groups, Talk, and Explore. This seems pretty cool.
