How can young people like us in high school support the cause of families looking for their loved ones?

In the interview with Lety hidalgo I had a clearer understanding of how the families of missing persons in Mexico must seek ways of getting their stories heard, especially since the media is not always on their side. She explained how at times the media covers a protest or a single case and then forgets about it, dropping the story. It seems the media only shows up if there is something dramatic or something violent, and not regularly to help the families.

That's why they've turned to other methods to gain notice, such as the groups FUNDENL, for example. Lety explained how they've performed such things as public demonstrations through embroidery and artworks to convey their message. Instead of relying on the media, they make their own impact by taking symbolic actions which are peaceful but powerful. I found that to be creative and indicative of how dedicated they are in being heard.

I also realized that civic activism is very important. Even small actions from regular individuals, like attending protests or sharing things on the internet, can make these issues harder to overlook and even more attractive for the media to cover, but we need to remember that This speech illustrated that while media is useful, it's not necessarily reliable, and communities need to find their own ways of remaining strong and continuing to struggle for justice.

Although in a lot of moments in the film we can see the influence of the government being utilized in important aspects of the story .This was the inflection point in the story, a closure to the mistery in a crude way which was possible with the help of one of the few good persons in the government which actually wanted to help our protagonist

B) Inequality affects the crisis of forced disappearances because usually the government doesn't tend to disappear those who have money. It happens but most of the time it happens to people whose families won't be able to create a scandal. Or to people who they consider irrelevant, which is very wrong.

C) I can become a better citizen in understanding wealth by comprehending how lucky I am for the privileges I possess, which sadly not everyone has. So I need to be thankful for the luck I had.

D) Inequality originates from poverty according to Rousseau; however, there is also inequality by gender, age, ethnicity, etc.
