         <description><![CDATA[<p>(2070-1600 BCE)</p><p><br/></p><p>The Xia Dynasty is considered the first dynasty in Chinese history, but it is only considered mythical or quasi dynasty because of limited evidence.   </p><p><br/></p><p> Yu the Great was a key figure during the Xia Dynasty. He is credited with controlling floods and establishing effective irrigation systems, which contributed to agricultural development. He is also considered the founder of the Xia Dynasty. </p><p><br/></p><p>Social Hierarchy: The Xia Dynasty introduced a hierarchical social structure, with the ruling class at the top and commoners below, which became a characteristic feature of later Chinese dynasties.</p><p><br/></p><ol><li><p>Tyrannical Rule: Jie, the last ruler of the Xia Dynasty, is said to have governed with cruelty and oppression, ignoring the welfare of his people and indulging in lavish and immoral behavior. His oppressive rule is believed to have caused discontent among the population.</p></li><li><p>Rebellion of Tang: Tang, a noble from the Shang tribe, is considered the leader of the rebellion against Jie's rule. Tang is said to have gained support from the people and other nobles who were dissatisfied with Jie's tyrannical governance.</p></li></ol><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>(1279–1368)</p><p>First foreign-ruled dynasty in China</p><p>The Yuan Dynasty was a period in Chinese history that lasted from 1271 to 1368. It was established by <strong>Kublai Khan ( Shizu )</strong>, the Mongol leader and grandson of Genghis Khan. The Yuan Dynasty marked the first time that China was ruled by a non-Chinese ethnic group.</p><p><br/></p><ul><li><p>The Yuan Dynasty was founded by Kublai Khan in 1271 when he declared himself emperor and established his capital in Dadu (present-day Beijing).</p></li><li><p>Kublai Khan was a skilled military leader and administrator who successfully unified China and expanded the Mongol Empire.</p></li><li><p>The Yuan Dynasty embraced cultural diversity and allowed different ethnic groups to maintain their distinct identities.</p></li></ul><p><br/></p><p>Trade routes, such as the Silk Road, flourished, connecting China with Central Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.</p><p>The Mongols implemented policies that facilitated trade, including the use of paper money and the establishment of a unified system of weights and measures.</p><p>The Mongols also patronized the arts and supported the production of various cultural works.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Genghis Khan:</strong></p><p>Grandfather of <strong>Kublai Khan, </strong>This famed clan leader and his immediate successors <strong>created the largest empire ever to exist</strong>.</p><p><br/></p><p>Four Class System:</p><p>Status of the Mongolian Ethnic Minority, which had a small number with great disparity to the majority Han people.</p><ul><li><p>First, the real power was mainly grasped in the hands of the Mongolian people and Semu people while few of the court officials were Han people or any other ethnic minorities from the third and the fourth classes.</p></li><li><p>People of the third and fourth classes had to participate in more test subjects and exam questions that for them were more difficult, compared with the first and second class. Third, the fourth class people received unequal legal treatment.</p></li></ul><p>   1.
