A reason why we allow others to tell our stories is to learn about what our live's were like. For example the part of the story with the bus told us how dangerous the place Trevor was at really was. It told us that nowhere was safe. From there we can visualize what life must've been like for him.

We could tell them in story form or through pictures or through song.

"Men in rage strike those that wish them best." This could be seen as a warning that people in rage will turn of those who wish them the best. In Othello that person in rage was Iago. Iago's purpose was to get Desdemona to be his. This led him down a path where he wouldn't get what he wanted and would suffer. Everyone's purpose leads them to their own destination or journey.
