Your mind maps are visually pleasing but could do with more text - use synonym generator to help you. 

There seem to be a gap between Zombies, Cannibalism and 3D "sculpture that isn't conventionally aesthetically pleasing..." at this stage of your project development. To bridge this gap, could begin by exploring traditional VFX. 
Ray Harryhausen would be a good start.

I also used contrasting colours  in the style of the 3D artists I had researched. 

Unfortunately I couldn’t complete it as a mixed media piece as i’d wanted to due to complications with the college wifi and being unable to print anything. Ideally i’d still like to do this by placing it on a board and bringing the transformation theme forward by having flora come out of the crevice, as well as incorporating some horror styles that are my own to show imperfections in change and how the act of changing may require some things that aren’t so appealing. ]]> 2022-05-19 20:23:09 UTC https://padlet.com/210033221/2ym46c2kcgdhrred/wish/2191950410 Evaluation https://padlet.com/210033221/2ym46c2kcgdhrred/wish/2192767198 - I created my final piece by using a variety of styles I had explored during my research and using elements of them in a final digital piece.
- My step by step process was compiling images from artists I’d researched, sketching elements of them and creating it into my own piece. 
- I used the checklist to keep track of my tasks in this project.
- I’ve used these processes in previous projects and I will most likely use the same ones in future projects.
- My work habits tend to be to rush forward in my ideas so I have to pace myself out to counteract that.
- I’m proud of how abstract it came out and how I used my style combined with Arcane, Borderlands and other artists, however I think in terms of research and planning it’s one of my best, however in execution I could have done a better piece.
- I would have liked to improve it by making it the mixed media piece I intended it to be, by bringing it to life with dry flowers and adding in elements of gore art, I still intend to finish the piece like that however it will have to be after the deadline.
- My use of clay was less successful because I wasn’t enthusiastic about the air-dry clay and it was hard to work with. 
- I’ve responded to Arcane concept art, Borderlands concepts, Mirriam
Hodfman and some Banksy pieces, as well as Petra  Collins.
- I enjoyed each artists/arts individual style and how unique it made the pieces they created, as well as dynamic posing in Petra

Before this course I had digital skills and I was skilled with technology, now those skills hae improved to include photoshop. During the previous units I learnt different skills that would help further my future work, such as efficiently researching different artists and their work as much as I can in order to take inspiration and techniques and use them in my own work. I’ve also learnt how to use the formal elements to further my thumbnails and smaller experimental sketches. I have also learned how to develop my work further to create a more thought out final piece as to not rush into a final drawing when I get ideas. I have broadened my ideas and techniques to include paint as well as traditional pencil sketches and digital art.
