I think the greatest contribution from the Progressive Era is Education because it was needed for kids and adults that can´t read or write and it was not fully supported by mill workers. But they started raising money from women´s leagues to build libraries in communities throughout the state and the availability of books helped increase literacy in our state.

I think the greatest contribution from the Progressive Era is Women Suffrage because women were very active in promoting reforms that would improve their communities but also received very little support in gaining the right to vote. Women suffragettes engaged in marching but then they will end up being arrested.

i think the greatest contribution from the Progressive Era is Women’s Suffrage because in SC women received very little support in getting the right to vote. Women also pushed hard for health and education reforms. Women in South Carolina fought hard for their rights, they marched, picketing (protested), but were also arrested for it. So, their movement wasn’t very successful until political leaders including president Wilson, recognized women’s contributions to the war effort and supported a suffrage amendment to the Constitution.
