He said that even though he knew he was going to be killed he was happy, because Odin, his god, it would be waiting for him at a banquet to celebrate his arrival toasting with beer. He had certain that he was going to be into Valhalla and he did not either feel fear nor was sorrow about his death. He also said he was going to be waiting there for his sons, to hear and enjoy  their triumph tales. He knew that the Aesir would gave him a properly welcome and the Valkyries would come to looking for him. Finally he said he did not need to apologise about he did in his entire life.
