Defination: Agriculture is the growing of crops and the rearing of animals to provide food, wool and other products.

Impacts: Food provisioning also releases greenhouse gases to the atmosphere so, the more the people farm for living, more greenhouse gases will be in the atmosphere. Greenhouse gases such as methane and nitrous oxide that is released from farming, absorbs the shortwave radiation and thus since more these greenhouse gases are given out, more of these shortwave radiaton is given out. When more shortwave radiation is given out, more heat is produced to the atmosphere and thus agriculture contributes to climate change.

Examples: Over the last 150 years, 476 billions of tonnes of carbon has been emitted from farmland soils due to inappropriate farming and grazing practices this has emitted an voluminous amounts of heat in the atmosphere.

Definition of deforestation: Deforestation is the loss of forests due to the removal or clearance of trees in forested areas, humans carry out deforestation for reasons such as obtaining wood for making various products such as paper and building materials, clearing forested areas for mining activities, carrying out agriculture activities such as grazing of animals,

impacts of deforestation:
it can lead to increasing carbon dioxide in two ways , forests help remove a large amount of atmospheric carbon dioxide when plants carry out photosynthesis. Deforestation leads to fewer trees and other plants to absorb carbon dioxide and hence resulting in more carbon dioxide remaining in the atmosphere. The second way deforestation causes soil to be exposed to sunlight ,Soil also contains larges amounts of carbon due to its accumulation of carbon through decay of organic matter such as dead leaves and animals. Deforestation results in an increase in soil temperatures which increases the rate of carbon dioxide which produces carbon dioxide due to the reaction between carbon in the soil and oxygen in the air.

Examples of deforestation:
Deforestation in Brazil's Amazon rainforest reached a record high for the first six months of the year, as an area five times the size of New York City was destroyed, preliminary government data showed on Friday (July 8).

From January to June, 3,988 square km were cleared in the region, according to national space research agency Inpe.

Definition of Industry: An industry is a group of manufacturers or businesses that produce a particular kind of goods and services. There are dozens of industries classifications.

Impacts: Industries contribute to climate change from the usage and combustion of fossil fuels, which releases carbon dioxide, methane and many other greenhouses gases which contribute to the enhanced greenhouse effect which would trap more heat, and increase the Earth’s temperature 🌡.

Examples: This would impact on many wildlife creatures and plants as the increase of temperature would be difficult for them to adapt. Ice shelves will melt which causes the glaciers to fall into the ocean and contribute to the rising sea level. Industries also causes acid rain to occur, which corrodes limestone and marble building, and deteriorates it. Industries like the transportation industry, agriculture, Electricity production are the main causes of it.

Example: The video shown above.
