         <description><![CDATA[<div>The X-1 rocket plane broke the sound barrier while 45,000 feet (13,700 meters) over the Rogers Dry Lake in the Mojave Desert. During the flight, Yeager reached Mach 1.05, or 1.05 times the speed of light. The X-1 was going 770+ mph which is the approximate speed to break the sound barrier.</div>]]></description>

Kids in the 40s had a magic-like ball called the "Magic 8 Ball" like the rest f the members on the Fortune Telling Toy Team, the Magic 8 Ball gets its share of nasty accusations. Kinds in the 40s had a prank toy called the "Whoopee Cushion" that whenever somebody sits on it the Whoopee Cushion makes and fart-like noise but it will only do the noise if the Whoopee Cushion has air in it.</div>]]></description>
