School "Ioan Bob" is located in the center of Cluj-Napoca, str. Bob Bishop Ioan no. 10 near Bob Church near Union Square, between str. Napoca str. Memorandum.
             School "Ioan Bob" gives each student the opportunity to contribute to society intelligent and ethical education.
            All the actions, activities and approaches school teaching activities started from the fact that "the fundamental purpose of the whole educational system is increasing the quality of education."
            The school is after the family, the primary authority vested with the responsibility of modeling human being. School influence is exercised not only in the curriculum but also in extracurricular activities, under the most diverse and comprehensive aspects.

This school works since 1850 when it was called "Greek-Catholic Primary School. Official data are from 1880 only.
          By 1924, the confessional character, supported by the Greek-Catholic Parish of Cluj. From that date passed the state together with the entire teaching staff and was named "State Primary School no. 7".
          In 1935 it began building their own premises of the school, which was inaugurated on 25 October 1936 with a total of 340 enrolled students (grades I-V). In the school year 1937-1938 there were 344 students divided into 5 classes (I-V).
          The name "State Primary School no. 7" was kept until 1954 at which date was called "school no. 2" classes I-VII. It functioned under that name in 1965 with the primary level of education (classes I-IV) and secondary (classes V-VIII).
          Since November 30, 1999 School is called "IOAN BOB" with levels of education: primary (grades I-IV) and secondary (classes V-VIII).
         The prestige of the school was maintained over the years due punched outliers teachers and pupils.
