Lifestyle (i.e. do they get enough mental stimulation, go outside etc.

Have they been eating drinking normally?

Whats their medical history

How are the drops being administered?

Are they eating and drinking ok?

Changes in behaviour (Could be a sign of pain)

Is the patient toileting as normal?

Ask colleagues about temperament

Look at BCS, weight, and identify changes or trends in the weight

Are they indoor or outdoor (If cat)

Read up on medical history (Age, weight, any past eye issues) before the consult to identify further in depth questions

-vaccines and worm/flea information

How is the animal temprement/behaviour?

Any chenge in behavior since the corneal ulcer as been identify or while it as been discovered?

Grooming isn’t a concern, they’ll be brushed basically in hospital but there’s bigger problems in life

If it’s not eating well can owners expand

The horse can be stables with constant views of other horses to compromise

They are not eating well and are not grooming themselves much

Potential problems

They are used to being outside so may not do as well being in a kennel indoors and they are used to having a companion so may become stressed from being separated from them, the lack of grooming could also cause issues if it wasn't adressed and they got matts or dirt left on the fur

Are they eating somewhere else? Outdoor cat could go to other peoples home? So for this reason they eat less at home or there could be a potential that since they are been feeding something some where else that could make the animal not feeling well?
