This story used advanced words to describe what was going on in the story. It feels to be of an older children's book, more than a younger kids book. This would be a great book for the classroom because even though it uses advanced words, it could help younger kids have a broad vocabulary from listening to the words. The book has decent illustrations, so children may get information from the pictures too.
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1418767.Baboushka_and_the_Three_Kings

This story shows generosity from someone. A man was letting people live in his little farm house, and would always have room for one more. It teaches how you can always be generous to people. This would be a great book to use in class because it can teach children to be generous in any situation.
https://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?prl=10.00&sortby=1&kn=1965&tn=%22Always+Room+For+One+More%22

This story is about a little old woman who liked to make dumplings and laugh a lot. She made dumplings one day and one had fallen in a crack and she went to retrieve it. She had been captured by these creatures and they wanted her to make the food. She escaped one day then went back home to be jolly and laughing. This story uses a lot of repetition throughout, using different words like 'my', 'dumpling', and 'tee-he-he-he'. This book also uses cultural diversity, with the woman being Japanese.
http://www.arvindguptatoys.com/arvindgupta/funnywoman.pdf

This story shows that even if you fail sometimes you need to keep trying to accomplish the goal you have set for yourself. In the story, a man with a large family dreamed of flying a plane and owning a boat. He had wished for all of these glorious things, but failed many times to accomplish them. He eventually learns how to fly a plane, then flies over to England. This would be great for the classroom because it shows to never give up on what you set yourself to do.
https://archive.org/details/gloriousflightac00prov

This book has great colorful illustrations which many children are drawn to, it may get them more involved in the story. All of these events in the story ended with the young girl Ceci having a party. She had a pinata and she felt upset whenever it had crashed to the ground. The pinata was talking to her from the sky (in her mind) and it made her feel better.
https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/nine-days-to-christmas-marie-hall-ets/1114592274
