This was a match against a professional football academy called Lion City Sailors, I'm number 24 and I played 70 out of the 80 minutes in the match. It was really good experience playing against a professional academy and made me a lot of areas I need to improve in, overall I was very happy with my performance.

Sports Leaders Reflection

This is the group of kids I taught over the last season. Overall, I enjoyed the activity a lot as I got to work alongside kids and share my football knowledge with them. It was quite cool that just a few years ago I was in their exact position and now I get to help them and mentor them to become better at the sport. I worked on my leadership skills by having to come up with drills, adjust the sessions if there were less people or a specific skill was lacking, and to keep everyone enjoying the session.

This photo was taken right after we won the U17 boys league. I'm in the middle holding the trophy. This season was great experience for me because it has been a while since I played football formally and coming back and captaining the team to a league victory was a great feeling. I made a lot of new friends and improved my communication and captain skills.

MUN Season 1 reflection

The highlight of the season was the MUN conference held on the weekend of 4th October. I improved my confidence and speaking skills throughout this conference by giving the most recorded speeches in my committee. The conference also helped me make new friends and learn about more pressing world issues helping to come up with solutions to them.

Season 1 Reflection

This is my first year doing boomerang bags and it was a great season. I learned how to sew and stitch bags together, this is a cool life skill that I finally picked up this year. On top of that, we produced more than 50 bags helping to give back to the local community. I also learned a lot more about plastic consumption and ways to prevent it in the future

Being a CAS Ambassador help to improve my leadership and communication skills as I had to lead the class for weekly activities as well as communicate with my classmates to help them fix any doubts in their CAS experiences and help to relay questions to the head of CAS.

CAS Conversation 2

This 2nd CAS conversation was a very important step in my CAS journey because it marked the midway point of my IB experience. The conversation allowed me to reflect on how I am engaging with the UWC mission competencies and areas for improvement, allowing me to propose solutions for my weaknesses so I can finish the CAS experience to the best of my ability.

Final CAS conversation

Having my final CAS conversation allowed me to reflect on my CAS journey in UWC, and reflect on the UWC mission competencies one last time(formally). The conversation was very useful in showing me how the UWC mission competencies go far beyond the reach of the school, and will be values that I will carry forward throughout the rest of my life. The conversation also allowed gave me time to think on how I can use the skills I have learnt throughout CAS in the future, like when I go to college.

This first conversation was very useful because I have never really connected with the UWC mission competencies before, and the CAS experience will allow me to do exactly that. The conversation was useful in determining my goals going forward with CAS, and also brainstorm different ways I will engage with the mission competencies.
