         <description><![CDATA[<div>—Stress is often described as a feeling of physical or emotional tension.</div><div>—Stress is not necessarily a bad thing, as in short bursts, sometimes it can keep you aware and on top of things. But sometimes when there’s too much stress it can impact your physical and/or emotional health as well as impact you in other ways.</div><div>—Stress is a reaction your body has when having a demand or challenge applied to it.<br>—As stated before not all stress is bad. According to teenhealthandwellness.com, “Everyone is bombarded by stressors and has stress reactions on a daily basis. Stress and stress responses are not necessarily negative events. They can be what motivates and gives us the energy to excel and or meet our goals if used productively.”</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>—Stress may turn into anxiety. Stress and anxiety are not the same thing, and are often confused. Stress is a feeling you get when being under certain pressure. Anxiety is a feeling you get even after not being under pressure.</div><div>—Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a stress reaction to an event that is traumatic. <br>—Killing of brain cells and reduction of the brain can be a result of stress. Shrinking of the prefrontal cortex is connected with chronic stress. The prefrontal cortex is the area of the brain that is responsible for learning and memory.</div><div>—Stress impacts the brain by making it lose focus.<br>—According to teenhealthandwellness.com, “HelpGuide.org, an online resource, explains, ‘When you perceive a threat, your nervous system responds by releasing a flood of stress hormones, including adrenaline and cortisol. These hormones rouse the body for emergency action.’” Not all stress is bad towards the brain as shown by the stress hormone released by the brain that helps the body fight off threats.</div>]]></description>

It can also affect your digestive system.<br>— According to teenhealthandwellness.com, “Everyone experiences stress. Too much of it, though, can bring about serious long-term problems. The effects are worse on some people than others.“ In short, stress effects everyone differently.</div>]]></description>
