Nobody thought Jay and Adnan would do a thing like this. In the end, Adnan is left with a life sentence and Jay is just "involved with the murder." I still do not believe Jay is innocent. I think Jay did it.

Theme: Putting more pieces together
Response: At first the prosecutor says it is suspicious that Adnan doesn't remember the police phone call. A note popped up saying frustrating things that Hay wrote. Dave was a guy who called saying that his daughter heard about a dead body. The neighbor showed her the body in the trunk. The girl says a boy named Adnan showed him the body. The news report was stated after Adnan had already been in jail. Kathy is another whitness who talks about how Jay was being really chatty and Jen called. She said jay is there with a high friend. She only remembered Adnan saying how to get rid of a high. In the end they conclude that they can't just find out that Adnan is a good guy. They need more. More detailed evidence and whitnesses.

Theme: Testing Theories
Response: The prosecutors test out the suposed route during the murder. They take Adnans word and test out his timing claims. They go to the school and do all the things and see id he can make it in the right time before the call. They found out that it was possible but there would be no room for errors. The prosecutors went onto research on phone log and records. The prosecutors listen to more witnesses and continue to map out times and locations. Adnan's track friends were used for information. Jay's story is said to be consistent. Both adnan and jay have inconsistent stories.

Theme: New evidence
Response: They get a record of Adnns phone records and calls. There is 34 calls on that day. Ine of the kids calls one and says Adnan killed Hay. Jen lies to the cops. She than thinks she might get charged so goes to the detectives. She claims Adnan said Hay broke his heart. Jens information becomes a little cloudy. Jay told Jen he didn't help bury the body and that he took him some place than got him from a girls house. Jay mentioned shovels. But the shovels were from Jays house. Jen says Adnan and Jay weren't best friends. Just aquantiences. Which could go back to my theory of Jay being guilty. Adnan was friends with Jays girlfriend. Which could've made Jay angry enough to frame Adnan. Jay claims that Adnan asked him to help, he says he is percieved as a criminal type guy. buys weed etc.

Theme: New evidence and suspect
Response: They met a suspect who tends to change his story quite a bit. He claims he sa wthe body in leakin park. A common place to see dead bodies. He says he was going to pee but his story continues to change. There is a new guy met names Justin. He wants to write about this. They look at pictures and are shocked to see how much of the body was shown. They head out to the park to see where Mr. S went into the woods. Along with why he would go so deep. They then conclude that the deepness of the woods was acceptable. Mr S has been arrested for streaking odly in public. Many times.

Theme: The details on the Breakup
Response: The podcast talks about all the feelings and actions that others and Adnan had felt?seen. They asked people who were friends with them to explain what their relationship seemed like. One girl said at the time it seemed normal but now that the details are coming in shes not too sure. This is showing how this story might change quite a lot despite the views people are now hearing on a topic they already know about. They talked about Adnan being a player and how Hay had another boyfriend named Dom. But Hay flirted and still talked to Adnan like they still were together.
