Talk about speech sound.
Without sound there can be communication (photo, sing lenguaje).
The study of the sound of speech can be divide into: Phonology and Phonetics.
Phonetics: studies speech as an object of study. In all lenguaje is different.
Phonology: study how lenguaje are organized in different patterns.

The loofs of phonetics: One of the biggest obstacles phonetician face is that cant't see the objects they are studying. You can't see the tangue as it's moving around inside someones mouth; you can't see the sound wave traveling throungh the air; you can't see the vibration of the fluid in the inner ear
The vocal tract: the vocal tract basically, sound in vibrating air. Speaking means using you vocal tract (lung, trachea, larynx, mouth and nose) to get air moving and vibrating, and then shoping that movement in different ways.

In this class tell about articulators abone the laringe and the importance of organs such as the brain, lungs, trachea, pharynx,etc. When it comes to vocalying and producing the message throungh sound.

Speech chain
Has there primany elements in comunication.
The speaker- The listener- The message.
+The speaker gives a message in which the listener can hear, understand and interpret.
Message: starts in the brain speaker: Sends this messasge throught the motor nerves which start movinng the organs of speech.
The speech chain is the procees by virtue of chich a message is comunicated. It starts in the speaker's brain and it finished in the listener's brain

When the vocal folds are wide open, the air from the lungs passes thorought them without ang obstruction, results sounds are produced without vocal fold vibration, sound articulated in this way are called vocailes.
when the vocal golds come together the air from the lungs has to set them side as it passes throught causing vocal fold vibration

Allophones and Phonemes*
In this class it tries to imply about allophones, phonemes and its main features.
Phonemes: are the speech sound of a language. Ex: /t/, /k/ and /f/.
Phonemes are represented in writting between forward slashes. Phonemes refers to the abstract set of sound that allow us to distinguish meaning represent abstract segments.
Meanwhile
Allophones are the differents versions of a phonemes that are produced in actual speech.
