During the time my father was apart of the U.S Navy and was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan - my mothers home town. After obtaining the green card, she lived with my dad in Oceanside, California; yet they had to buy a house to live in which was another obstacle. Though I don't really know if this affect them. For I mostly know was that during the time there was maybe tightness in immigration.
