In the Animoto story that the group that I was in did, we looked on the Of Mice and Men novel. We also used google images to add images to the Animoto. 

For this assignment we used pictures and wrote a lot about the dream Lennie and George have in the novel. The dream they had in the novel was to own a small farm with a few animals and Lennie would’ve tended the rabbits. George didn’t think it would happen but then Candy came and offered money and suddenly the dream became visible. The small farm with a few animals is the American Dream for Lennie and George.

We also used a number of websites which include, rebecaray.com, cliffnotes.com, wikipedia.com and shmoop.com. We also used a bit of humor in the Padlet. The main thing we did was the storyboard. We told the story in a shorter context.

I liked doing this Padlet work because it was joyful to complete. The Animoto I think was the funnest task because it was fun choosing the music, background and pictures. I enjoyed this task also because of the group work, I enjoy working in groups.

There was a lot of tasks assigned in this Padlet. We put up a story board, Animoto and pictures about the novel and the American Dream. Not to mention all of the extra things me and my group put into the Padlet.

I think that the group work worked well in this in this Padlet but I I’d think my group could improve a bit on communication on it because the other groups seemed to be talking a lot more than us.

That was my reflection on the book Of Mice Of Men. Goodbye.

My group and I, ( Danny, Oscar, Aodhán and Steven) had the theme of “dreams” for our project. I had thoroughly enjoyed working on this project with my classmates. I had joined the group late because I had been sick with the flu the week we started. Even with that small space of time I had enjoyed this class work.

The methods we used in making this project were a few excellent ones. For the photograpy, it was usually from google images after searching the words “Of Mice and Men,” or even “Of Mice and Men storyboard.” For the bibliographies we went through the history of our iPads and found all the links to the notes and images we had the pleasure of using.

The thinking behind the animoto was just a few short from greatness. Danny, “the animoto master,” had taken the images and the notes from the storyboard and had added them into the animoto with music and cool slides. 

I thought a lot things worked well making this project and a lot of the things didn’t. But I will start on the positives. 

Things that worked well in this project is that everyone on my group had put in an effort, which I think was greatly on the shoulders of “padlet” as it was quite accessible to everybody and was very easy to use. I thought that nobody was getting in anyones way and that we could work at our own desk without leaning over each other and what not. I thought the bad thing about this project was that we had too much time to do it. We just procastinated for quite a long time at the start and I believe in this instinct it would be better for it to be shorter. As for me at least, I work better under pressure.
