What was your concept and story behind your photographs?

My concept was to use candy to represent the giving of love and happiness. Many candy in one vase signify that there is much love to share and to give others. The kisses of the last two photos bring out more love than ever. "I'd rather have your kisses than a piece of candy."

How do the three images work together?

The three images work together by emphasizing how candy is symbolized. Give out as much love/"candy" as you can, not because you have to but because you want to. There is no such thing as giving too much love in this world. Candy is our way of saying "I love you," "You are special to me," "You are such an amazing person," "You got this," "I will always support you," "You mean so much to me," "Don't give up," "I promise," and so much more.

What do you like best about your photographs? What did you learn new, what did you try out?

I like that my photographs show nothing by candy love throughout all of them. Candy does nothing but emphasize the love and happiness that is floating around in this world. Something I learned new is that it's better to have a variety of props to make the photographs bigger and better. I tried using the love my boyfriend and I have for each other to bring out the words of candy more.

When I'm grading, what things do you think I should specifically look at- that you worked the hardest on?

When you are grading my work, I want you to specifically think about what it's like to give and get love. Think of what occasions candy is given to other people and why. Candy speaks so many words. Even this one little action can change a person for the better. When you are looking at my photographs please look at the variety of candy and how they are used to help my point get across.
