  • In the first year Catholic Charities took over operations of the WHRC, we placed 168 people in housing! That’s over double what we promised Baltimore City for one year.
  • We receive an incredible amount of donations – many months totaling $6,000 - $20,000 per month. One night of hot meals donated saves us $800 alone. We are so grateful for these donations, and we hope to continue to grow in our donations received, to best serve our clients.
  • On average, WHRC has about 20 volunteers per day – about 10 residents and 10 outside volunteers. In the past six months, our volunteers served an average of 111 hours per day! In the first year WHRC was operated by Catholic Charities, volunteers served over 27,000 hours, or the equivalent of almost 2 full-time staff members!
