-Limiting government lets the states have more freedom and thats what the colonists wanted instead of a government with too much control over the states like what King George did.
-Religious freedom is good anywhere, it does not make your citizens happy if they can only believe in one thing. Unlike Britains church system, that led to some people leaving the country, the colonists wanted to worship whatever they wanted.
-Issuing coins is good so the states don't have to issue coins by themselves and do something different than everyone else and not be able to use them.
-If Congress settles the conflicts in the states it is better than the states settling them themselves because arguing never leads to anything good, and this case it may lead to interstate war which is not good, so Congress is better suited to settle state disputes.
-Congress has to negotiate the treaties because if states do them alone then separate states could form alliances with countries that could put that state so far ahead of everyone else, and the country could try and take down the states by targeting one at a time.

-Because states could refuse taxes, most states did and that led to Congress having little to no money to pay war veterans for their service and carpenter for ships, food suppliers and more for their help. This led to Congress being in debt which angered most veterans, notably Daniel Shays who was taxed after the war in Massachusetts but with no money he couldn't pay. This led to several farmers joining the revolt because of the tax on their land. Shays Rebellion was one of the events that led to the Article of Confederation being changed.
-Having no court system or Supreme Court meant that no one could appeal to a higher court when in a state court. This could have potentially led to criminals being convicted of something they didn't do or falsely convicted.

In conclusion the Articles of Confederation failed because of the major problems that faced it. It did have good advantages but the weaknesses were just too overpowering to see any good in the document. Most states agreed that there needed to be at least changed and at most scrapped. Not being able to tax led to many problems with world trade and debt and having no court system did no help with legal problems. Other things The Articles Of Confederation did not meet the needs of the colonists and their needs.
