Reflection: 
This was my first self initiated project of the semester and I wanted to try something new but not out of my comfort zone. Looking back I wish I would have the jawline less sharp and made the ears larger, as they are one of the main features of this cat. This project was initiated by Mr. Zimka and I wasn't really into it. I wish I would have spent more time on it making it more detailed. In the future I hope to finish the main figure, Margida, and add a background that complements the figure well. For this project I decided to go back to my "roots" and paint a landscape based off of a picture I took while visiting my relatives farm. Looking back I'm really pleased with how this turned out but I few things I found have done differently was adding more in the background since it seems pretty empty and bland. I also would have added more shadows to give the painting a more realistic look. These paintings are of 2 therapeutic horses at a local barn specializing in providing horseback riding sessions for children and adults with disabilities. I donated the original paintings and prints of them to the organization to help raise money for their program. I am really pleased with how these 2 paintings turned out, but looking back I would have made Taco's muzzle longer and added a background to complement their fur colors. I am very happy with how this project turned out especially since it was a new concept to me. One thing I'm hoping to add in the future is a faint color behind the mountains, maybe a light yellow or blue.
