This book has 509 pages it is to me an older based book for teenagers. And I thought it was a great book.

They are complex because there were a lot of words I did not know. I also did not know the definition. It was also very descriptive on the war and the challenges the characters faced throughout the book. The thing that stood out in a paragraph was when she was reading her moms diary the font lightened and changed. As in one time it is in one factions building and the next moment they travel to another one. They are fighting so it is very adventurous. In a couples point of view a girl and boy. When one dies it turns to only ones point of view. It got a little confusing because it kept going back and forth, but I just looked back to who is speaking. It is symbols that describe each faction. Like in this book it is a water splash. And they are trying to survive in the war between factions.
