         <description><![CDATA[<div>Strategy One: Watch a movie clip in English, without subtitles or any written supports. Have students, in writing or orally, describe what happened in the movie clip. Even with very minimal level of comprehension, the movie's setting and actors could provide clues that assist the student in making sense of the language<br><br>Strategy Two: Have students read a passage in English, then identify/circle/ highlight any words that are unfamiliar to them. Have students add these words to a journal from which they can review over the course of the semester.<br><br>Strategy Three: Create a storybird in English. Have students write a creative story in English about any given topic.</div>]]></description>
