I choose McDonald’s and Starbucks, because where ever city you go  you will probably find the same brand the food and the same energy . Sometimes it feels like the places are losing their uniqueness   because of how fast global culture expand . I chose this because it show how globalization can be sometimes make a different country looks and feel the same

many communities were still working hard to preserve their traditions. For example in the Philippines we are still celebrating festivals like sinulog and others are still performing their traditional dances. These picture reminds me that even though globalization are spreading people is still protecting their culture. Thats why I chose this to show the importance of preserving  our culture while living in a globalized world.

However, for this awareness to remain beneficial, it must be grounded in truth and responsibility, which calls for stronger fact-checking, critical thinking, and ethical reporting.

To address this, schools can (and probably should) emphasize media and information literacy, training students to critically evaluate sources, filter content, and apply knowledge responsibly.

By integrating digital literacy programs into curricula, schools can help learners navigate vast information networks while benefiting from the opportunities globalization provides.

In the education sector, this creates an environment of mistrust and vulnerability, especially when schools depend on online platforms for global collaboration.

To address this, institutions must implement strong data protection policies, provide digital safety training, and promote ethical online behavior among students and teachers.

Ensuring secure communication not only protects participants but also strengthens confidence in cross-border educational partnerships.

1. More job openings – It is easier for professionals to find work in other countries. Businesses are going global which means workers can look for employment in other countries. This means greater career paths and opportunities for advancement.

2. Knowing and learning new things – International professionals gain new knowledge and skills through knowledge and international collaboration which helps in their professional development. It helps them to keep abreast with the new and changing practices in their fields.

Disadvantages

1. Competition for jobs is tougher. Because of globalization, the world is connected. People from all over the world can compete for the same position. This means people will have to prove their skills and qualifications are better than the global average in order to be hired.

2. There is outsourcing-induced job insecurity. Some sectors will choose to outsource jobs to countries with cheaper labor. While this helps to reduce a company’s costs, it also increases worker instability in the country because their jobs can be relocated with ease.

   For me globalization means I have more opportunities where I could work. I have the chance to apply work abroad. This gives me more options to choose and maybe i earn better income compared to staying in my hood.

Disadvantages of Globalization on My Career

   At the same time i will be having a tough competition. I’m now not just competing with the people in my country but also competing with more skilled people in other countries. That means I need to work harder so that i wont  be stayed behind.
