SIG: Imperial Japan won the battle, but they lost four ships, one submarine, and some 1,000 lives.
America lost just over 100 people. Although America lost, the high number of Japanese deaths showed hope for them just after the dark days of pearl harbor.

SIG: After a month of fighting and 7,000 dead Americans, 6,000 of which were marines, the Japanese were overtaken. ID- The battle of Berlin was primarily fought by the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany. The battle began once the USSR attacked Berlin.

SIG- The Soviets started to bomb Berlin. Eventually the Soviet Union had the whole city surrounded by troops. After a few days the Soviets entered Berlin and the fighting began. The Germans fought back but they were not strong enough. This was the last battle that Hitler would see. Hitler admitted defeat and took his own life the same day.
