Es una industria tradicional , de combustible, se usaba el carbón sobre todo los demás combustibles. Por eso el paisaje se ve bastante oscuro y de niebla.
Las industrias en ese momento estaban pasando una crisis de explotación mineral y varios mineros se quedaron sin trabajo,
