Another reason that I know that Pip is optimistic is that he was upset that they kicked him out for what happened and he was upset but once he saw that the woman could have been in danger because she blind and that truck was coming as soon as he saw that he rushed over to save her and grabbed on to the purse like it was one of the harnesses and instead of it being practice this was REAL he was probaly very nervous but he made it and saved the woman and then she was happy that he had saved her and then the rest of the school and got one of the long "oH mY GOsh IM a sUpErhEro" cape thingys.
