Avogadro published his first scientific paper with his brother Felice. Then in 1806 he quit being a lawyer and began teaching mathematics and physics at a highschool. During this time Avogadro was interested in how basic particles of matter behave and come together to form chemical compounds and began working with two other scientist, John Dalton and Joseph Gay-Lussac.

My partner and I knew that Avogadro had discovered a hypothesis that changed science. Avogadro discovered Avogadros number also known as the mole. It was that equal volumes of different gases contain an equal number of molecules. The number is 6.022 multiplied by 10 to the 23rd power. Also known as the mole.

I didnt know much about science at the beginning of the school year. I didnt know what atoms where and I thought matter could just disappear. As science slowly started to explore more of the science world my knowledge grew progressively. I first began with learning about atoms and matter since they make up everything. I went from thinking atoms where math to knowing how balance complex chemical equations.

In the beginning of the year I knew nothing about science. I knew nothing since at my old school they never taught us science. When we took the test in the beginning of the year to see what we know I felt behind in a lot of stuff. But now I feel caught up and know a lot more. I learned about atoms, matter, physical and chemical changes, synthetic, natural, protons, neutrons, and electrons.
