What i knew about sculptures before taking the module

Honestly i didn't know much, although i met with a national artist Ral Arugante and he taught me basics of making sculptures using everyday objects by melding them together using copper or scarp metal and copper wire. He taught me that creating a sculpture is about having fun and giving what i make meaning since why would i do something if i don't enjoy it or if it doesn't have meaning. I didn't know any of the complexity it takes to make sculptures such as "The David" or the "Water stone" but i did know one of the reasons or possibly the drive of why they make them.

What I learned in the module about the form of sculpture as a Fine Art

What i learned in fine arts is the complexity of each sculpture and the time and effort it takes for it to finally be presentable, something the director of the upcoming ViARE and Kulture production once told me, is "If it's not worth presenting, don't show it" and this for me can relate to what i learned, about how each sculpture shown is pretty much in their final form, it shows where the sculptor is at his skills, something like a magnum opus but every work after that one is also a magnum opus as it shows how the sculptor improves himself creating a work better than the last, in terms of their skills.

What else I would like to learn about sculpture as a Fine art.

I would like to learn more about the complexity it takes to create a sculpture, i would like to learn more of the reason why sculptors create their sculptures. Mainly I would want to know the how and why of sculptures because the reason generates purpose for the creation. I would also like to learn more on the material and their respective ways on making it into a sculpture, in a sense questioning if i could use a technique specific for a material on another material.
