Most of the businesses have a financial objective which means that they are all about making money. This can be because the purpose of any business is to sell goods and/or to provide services to customers. By doing this, they are able to make a profit which is useful to pay their bills and to expand so they can make even more profit.

There are also businesses that have a non-financial objective. This does not mean that they don’t make a profit as without making a profit, any business would quickly break. Having a non-financial objective means that they aren’t focused on making money. Examples of non-financial objectives are: personal satisfaction, be an entrepreneur, become bigger and famous… Some businesses like Starbuck, used to have a financial objective but when they became big and famous their objective changed to non-financial.
