He wants to go and save the day even if his parents are overprotective of him he still goes out of his way to save others. Ty’s features are, he's tall, has black hair, is scrawny and hates the seablite gang Ty has changed a lot by the end of the book at the end of the book he was very caring because he makes friends with new people and really likes to help others proof of this is the quote, "I put my lips to hers and blew until my lungs were dry Gemma choked weakly at first then opened her eyes" that quot is on page 292.
From my second book Gone the character is Sam, Sam is the reluctant hero he does not really want to pressured to do things for other people but since all parents are gone Sam might have to take a stand my proof of this is the quote," Lets head for the plaza everyone we can stay there which is on page 3. Sams traits are he is tall, has blonde hair, likes to surf and has a girlfriend. The similarities with Ty and Sam are they both have girlfriends they're both fifteen years old and they are both tall.  
These two characters are the same because they are both very courageous in the end of the book and start off sort of normal.
