The story will go in a rather harrowing direction for all of the characters. Most likely the snake will make an epic return, murder the dog brutally in front of his owner, then lunging for her, and killing them in broad daylight. And, if circumstances permit, her ex-husband finds their bodies and breaks down sobbing. However, the snake comes back and murders the husband, too. Satisfied, the snake in an anticlimactic twist, dies from stress. Ironically, it is night when the snake dies. It will not be a happy ending for anybody in question. No one ever finds the bodies.

Through the dog promptly putting the snake on a news packet with its swift extermination, the story will take a slightly more lighthearted and cooled tone, while elaborating more on the dog's moments of exhaustion before resting.

The husband would report it to the police and she would be sent to a mental hospital. The wife would become insane and kill her way out of the hospital after finding out the husband now had a girlfriend during a quick visit on her birthday a month later.
