He served as CEO of the company during its early commercial stage from 2016 to 2018, when he initiated fundraising activities in preparation for an IPO or strategic transaction. Prior to his involvement with Notal Vision, the Vero Beach resident served as president and CEO at Neurotech. Quinton Oswald was previously the CEO of SARcode Corporation, and negotiated its sale to Shire, which retained his services to help create an ophthalmology business. Earlier, as a vice president at Genentech, Inc., Quinton Oswald oversaw commercial business units in ophthalmology, fibrinolytics, cystic fibrosis, and growth hormone that generated in excess of $2.1 billion in sales. Among other accomplishments, he launched the Lucentis brand, which was the third-largest introduction in the history of the US pharmaceutical market. He previously worked in leadership roles at Novartis Ophthalmics North America and Bristol-Myers Squibb. He managed business units in several regions, including the Netherlands and South Africa for Bristol-Myers. Complementing more than 45 years of pharmaceutical sales and management experience, Mr. Oswald has served as president of both the Asia-Pacific region and the Canada Committee of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America.
