The festivals Moors and Christians take place in some places in Valencia Community. One of the most well-known is in Alcoi. It's in April, around the day of St. George. According to legend the Christians people reconquered town. But the Moors tried to recover it. But went the battle was about to begin St. George miraculously was appeared to the Moors and they were been scared off.  Other remarkable festivals are celebrated in towns like Bocairent, Vila Joiosa and Villena. This last is the most crowded with 12.000 participants. In Andalusia we can find the same traditions in Alpujarras. Nowadays, in Philippines, Moors and Christians festival survives  in the form of Moro-Moro. It's a parade of stars in their colorful costumes. I participate in  Projecte Ciutat Plurilingue  onTuesday to 19:40  from 20:40h with Albert Farguell of a coordinator since October 3t., 2018 from June 19t., 2019. Every Tuesday for one hour, I share my opinion about different topics, that our coordinator must propose us every week, with 12 people more. He usually sends us questions about the some topic, like family, relationships, goals, gossip, habbits, etc.. And Also with the questions' work he always adds one o two songs that it turns about the subject and its lyrics. We must prepare the vocabulary before the session and listen to the song through the link that you send us from YouTube. I am very grateful to be able to participate in this program. And I would like to thank the coordinators who dedicate their time in a voluntary and disinterested way.
