They were well made because a lot of people would use them including the builders themselves.
2. Soldiers built the roads. Only soldiers can build the roads because the soldiers would only want to do good for Rome. Many soldiers knew they would use the roads so they tried their hardest on building these roads.
3. They used roads for quicker transportation. It also had smoother transportation. The keystone is the main part. This is because it helps support the whole structure. The arch used a lot wood and carpentering.
3. Arches were mostly used in bridges and aqueducts.

1. Columns were very important in Roman culture. Columns helped with the support of buildings. This resulted in better designed buildings
2. Since columns were made in buildings. Buildings could be made bigger since the column is like a pillar that holds the ceiling efficiently. Soon enough the building could be made taller because the columns take a lot of weight into them.
3. Columns were carved into for a more better look and stronger column. The center of a column had a wood chunk in the middle. Since they had added this, there was no falling columns.

1. The most famous area in which the domes were used for was the Pantheon. Another famous area was the St.Peter's church. All of these areas had to precisely built.
2. They built domes using small wood and a lot of support. They also had to put a lot of mathematics in the formula for a dome. This is because a dome was very complicated and gravity would try its best to male sure a dome would not be built.
3. They made a frame of wood before filling it with concrete. They used a frame of wood before filling it with concrete because the curved formation had to come perfectly. Another reason they put a frame of wood first is because the concrete would ruin the rest of the building and if they messed up the building was done for.

They would only build bridges if there was a dip and if there was not they would make the aqueduct underground.
2. They built bridges to transport the water to the city. Most of the water came from lakes and other places like those. Since they didn't want to have to walk all the way to the lake, they would just make aqueducts and take it from there.
3. These aqueducts supplied them with water for household materials. For example, bathtubs and to wash their dishes and more.

1. The Romans developed a new way of building bridges. Their new design was influenced by the Greeks. The Greeks had developed a new type of material that would absorb the weight.
2. The Romans conquered many areas. Because of this they needed to travel to other areas faster. They also carried huge weights so their bridges must carry all that weight.
3. Their new design was to curve it up. Since they can curve it up, the weight would be transferred to the ground directly, so the bridge would not break as easily. They also had added arches so the weight would lower even more for the bridge because the energy transfer becomes lower.
