7:00-8:30

The alarm goes off at 7 am and it's time to get up. In the kitchen breakfast was ready and a second voice was telling the date and what was going on that day. It turned to 8 and it was time for work the weather box said there was rain they went to their car and opened the garage to leave.

8:30-10:15

The eggs were scraped into the sink and robot animals came out of the wall and cleaned the house. At 10 the sun came out the house stood by itself in a city that was ruined. At night this city that was all gone gave off a radioactive glow which could be seen from ways away.

10:15-12:00

The sprinklers in the garden filled the morning with brightness. The water hit the house's west side and burned completely except for five places. The house kept its protection from its security and the way of the future that keeps everything clean and safe.

12:00-2:15

The dog whined and was let in by the house's security system running all over the house making the mice clean everything up. When the dog realized that the house was empty and quiet. Behind the door, the stove was making pancakes the dog sniffed at the door and his eyes became fire as it soon died. At two a voice sang and the mice sensed decay and they got out.

2:15-4:30

The dog was gone and suddenly the incinerator glowed and the chimney sparked. Tables came out from the patio walls along with cards and sandwiches. The cards were not used though and neither were the tables and at 4 everything went back into their original places.

4:30-5

The nursery walls lit up and animals took their shape and position. The walls were made of glass and there were hidden films through well-oiled sprockets the glass seemed to live. Lots of animals not real but made of other materials were around the room. Then the walls dissolved into playful grass and sun for miles. The animals went away and it was children's hour. At 5 the bath filled with hot water.

6:00-9:05

The dishes were somehow manipulated and in the study, a fire blazed up and a smoke cigar popped out. At 9 the beds warmed since it was cold there. 5 minutes later the house asked for what poem the owner would like and selected a poem randomly since there was no answer. The fire burned, the cigar fell, and the music played in the empty house.

The poem was played foreshadowing what may happen to the house and what would happen if war became such a problem which in this story it has. At 10 the house started to die. A tree had fallen through the house and started a fire from it hitting the stove. The house tried to save itself as sprinkles went off and doors shut but it wasn't doing enough.

Fighting The Fire.

The pumps had stopped with the water and the fire was making its way through the house. It went up the stairs and fire was in every room. Reinforcements came with robots of some sort with chemicals to stop the fire. The fire backed off for a moment but the fire was smart and had set off an explosion up and through the attic. The fire had rushed back into the house into every closet and on every piece of clothing. The house screamed but nothing seemed to help. The fire made it into the nursery and voices died along with the rest of the room burning.

The Last Moments.

In the last instant, you could hear the house saying the time. Random commands were going off like to mow the lawn and to set up an umbrella. The house made some last attempts to stop the fire but nothing was working the house had burnt. The house was slammed with the fire as each room and part of the house went down one by one and as it went down the house still made commands until it was just smoke and silence.
