After the Japan attacked the United States the president gave the order to the military to lock away anyone who looks like a spy from Japan. All Japanese Americans were taken away and put into prison camps, elders and babies and children. Whole families were put into prison camps all because their race was japanese and they could be a potential spy for Japan. The younger Japanese Americans were mad and full of anger but the elders tried harder to keep their peace and understand why the Americans did this even though they were still very upset. The japanese decided that they would prove their loyalty to the United states by fighting in the war, obeying commands and proving their loyalty so the Americans would trust them. They were called the Nisei and the Nisei had to fight in the European Theatre in particular italy, southern france and germany. They had to difficult tasks such as, being wounded several times but staying in the army. The Nisei lost a bunch of their men
