This is a great classroom management tool. The balls on the screen begin to bounce around when noise is detected. You can set it to a specific noise sensitivity. I would project it on the board during a time where they are supposed to be working independently or with a partner. They are able to look up at the board to see if they're being too loud and can adjust their voice level. Classroomscreen.com is a teacher's toolbox. It has all the tools you may need in a school day. Things like a calendar, clock, stopwatch, timer, name generator, and dice. You upload links, videos, and images. You can type or draw on the screen. What's even better is that it's all on one website! In my screencast above I show how I might use it in the classroom. I would use this in a history class or science class. Students would have to research about a famous historian or scientist. It is a fun way for kids to learn about important people. They can present these cards to the class or share theirs with a partner. The only thing I dislike about this resource is that there is a character limit on each question. I would have liked to write in more detail but was unable to because of the limit. You could print student's work on and post them around the room.

It is simple to create and once you're done there are ways to study using Quizlet. I like the test study tool the most. You can format it to be matching, multiple choice, written, or fill in the blank. You can also use your Quizlet cards to play a game on Quizlet.live. It is similar to Kahoot but students are in groups instead of playing individually. I would have students create Quizlet cards for each chapter's vocabulary. They can study these at home or when I give them class time to study for a test.

I would let student write a story board about themselves. I would have them read a story, then create a story board about the story but make up a new ending. This allows them to be creative and use technolgy! They are also having to think about problems and their solutions. You can privately send messages to parents. You can post class announcements for both students and parents to view. You can also use it to upload assignments for students to do. When students are complete and it's graded, parents are able to view what their child has been working on. I would use this instead of something like remind because it has more than just one useful tool. I like websites that have more many resources that can be used all in one place. Nowadays, this is more convenient to parents versus a paper newsletter or a phone call home.

Elementary students especially. After learning for a while they become restless and need to get that energy out. Go Noddle is perfect for that . The website has hundreds of videos to get them up and moving. I would use this when transitioning into a different subject or when I find they aren't focusing. This small break will let them burn off some energy.
